The Shakespeare Theatre Website

Mission Statement

Home

The Shakespeare Theatre is a non-profit community theatre that endeavors to bring high quality classical theatre productions to the Phoenix metro area.

The Shakespeare Theatre was founded in April of 1998 by a group of local actors and technicians who believed that the valley was in need of a theatre that specialized in the presentation of classical theatre. A theatre that educates the community at large about classical theatre and its relevance to modern society. An organization dedicated to the preservation of Shakespeare, as well as other classical playwrights from around the world.

Our goal is to present quality productions of these great works, and to cultivate an appreciation of these works in our community.
